Paraiso Park

Paraiso Park sits right at 3101 NE 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33137, nestled in the Edgewater neighborhood along the Biscayne Bay waterfront. Though compact at just 0.6 acres, it delivers big with smart amenities, scenic bay views, and strong community flair. Opened in June 2019, it was developed by Related Group as part of the Public-Private Paraiso District project and is maintained by the city with ongoing support from the Paraiso District management.

Situated in Edgewater, one of Miami’s most dynamic neighborhoods, the park has quickly become a favorite local stop. Its waterfront placement along Biscayne Bay ensures not only amazing views but also easy access for residents and visitors walking the bayfront promenade.

Facilities and Layout

Despite its small size, Paraiso Park is carefully designed to maximize every corner. An outdoor fitness zone includes three Kompan exercise machines set on rubberized flooring, offering safe spots for workouts and stretching with bay breezes nearby. The children’s playground is built on a bright blue safety surface and comes with a three-seater spinning bouncer, a tall rope climber, benches, and a water fountain. Low hedges and security cameras enclose the area, giving parents peace of mind while kids play.

At the western edge, there’s a fenced-in dog park, complete with a dual water fountain for people and pets, a pet-waste station, gravel play surface, and sculptural fencing. This space is especially popular with local dog owners, turning the park into a social spot for both humans and their four-legged friends.

Scenic Bayfront and Landscaping

Visitors often praise the views of Biscayne Bay and the baywalk that runs beside the park. This promenade is part of the Biscayne Line, a planned 10-mile pathway connecting Edgewater to Downtown Miami. Mature palms and native plantings such as seagrape, royal poinciana, oak, fescue, and black-eyed Susans frame the walkways. At night, decorative lighting wraps tree trunks and highlights landscaped beds, creating a magical glow.
